Architecture Workshop refurbished a heritage barn and built new shearers quarters for guest accommodation at the Tuhitarata Estate in the South Wairarapa. This link to the wedding website 'Lacewood' shows in a very atmospheric way how the buildings serve as backdrop for that ‘special day’. It's great to see how the heritage farm structures, the old homestead and the large formal garden all work together to provide one almost seamless environment, especially on a calm Wairarapa evening – quite a change from its previous use!
