The first 'medihotel' is being built in WA, Australia. Construction on the five star Green Star rated building will begin later in 2020 and is expected to be complete in 2022.

What is a medihotel? : "A hotel with the capacity to accommodate patients undergoing treatment".

The facility is built with patient rooms, medical equipment and a GP superclinic. The aim is to divert patients from the hospital's emergency departments and treat them at this alternative facility.
